Description of Tatyana Yablonskaya's painting “Morning”

Tatyana Yablonskaya's painting “Morning” refers to 1954. It emphasizes the beauty of everyday life. The name of the work speaks for itself: the canvas depicts earlier morning. This is indicated by bright colors that convey sunlight, as well as an unmade bed, from which, apparently, the main character, a girl, has just crawled out. If we talk about the time of year, then most likely it is May.

Outside the window, night fog still swirls, and coolness penetrates the room through the wide-open sashes of the balcony doors. The beauty of the room is emphasized by a plant curling along the wall, on whose leaves the sun's rays shimmer. It also indicates that the owners of the house seek to transfer the natural beauty to their home.

If you take a closer look at the decoration of the room, we can assume that it belongs to people of art. The saucer hung on the wall has the same pattern as the vase fixed above. Two ivy branches emerging from it are neatly fixed above the balcony opening and the window. The leaves of the plant create a kind of arch, as if inviting to go out into the fresh air.

The central part of the picture is a girl of about 10 years. Despite the fact that her camp is quite fragile, she exudes health and pep. A red tie hanging on a chair indicates that the girl is in the ranks of the pioneers.

On a round table located in the lower right edge of the picture, you can see half of the white bread and a jug. Apparently, the artist depicted the girl’s breakfast in this way.

The whole picture is saturated with morning freshness. This is emphasized by the selected colors: green, white, sand. Both the girl and the audience readily greet the onset of a new day, rejoicing in the current moment. The closed eyes of the “heroine” speak of the latter: either from sunbeams, or from the fact that she inhales the scents of morning.
